Tanning Lotion Information
Accelerators, intensifiers, and maximizers are often used interchangeably for lotions that boost your natural tan by stimulating melanin production. They all work with your skin's natural tanning process, hydrating and prepping the skin for better UV absorption. While maximizers are sometimes said to be used after a great tan is already achieved, there is no wrong time to try a Maximizer.
They are a perfect choice for beginners to help build a base tan, or for experienced tanners to help prolong their tans!
They do NOT contain DHA (an ingredient that works as a sort of dye that gives your skin immediate color)
Reccomended for all tanners.
Bronzers contain an ingredient called DHA. DHA works as a sort of dye that will add instant color to your skin for an immediate sun kissed look. They also contain ingredients that help boost your skins natural melanin leading to a natural tan. The DHA will gradually wash away.
Reccomended for all tanners that are looking to see immediate color changing results (they are typically an orangey tone so beware if you have a paler skin)
Tingles/Hot tanning lotions uses ingredients like benzyl nicotinate to increase blood flow to the skin's surface, causing a warm, prickly sensation and redness as it boosts oxygenation and melanin production for a deeper, darker, and faster tan, especially for experienced tanners hitting a plateau, but it's not for beginners or sensitive skin.
For experienced tanners looking to take the heat to the next level, check out our Ultimate Bronze Inferno and our Ultimate Inferno. Labeled as "The Wolrd's Stronest Tingle," you will not be disappointed! They are seriously HOT!
Reccomended for experienced tanners.
Moisturizers hydrate skin by attracting and locking in water, strengthening its protective barrier to prevent dryness, irritation, and damage from external factors.
You can use moisturizers before and after tanning. Keep that skin hydrated!
Reccomended for everyone.
Tanning Oil is designed to attract UV rays, intensify melanin production for a darker tan, and moisturize skin during sun exposure.
Reccomended for people with darker skin tone or people who are comfortable being exposed to high UV light as using oils can increase burn and skin irritation risks.
